OUR HISTORY

The Montabes Vañó family

Our history has been written on the land of Sierra Mágina, where we have carved a legacy of respect for the environment, self-imposed standards of excellence, perseverance and our attention to detail.

Five generations listening to the silence of the olive grove, interrupted by the song of the many bird species that inhabit our estates. Our family also belongs to these surroundings and completes its cycle around the olive tree and the olive fruit.

Our founders, Mr. Francisco Montabes and Ms. Araceli Vañó came from olive-growing families who cultivated olive trees in Sierra Mágina. With the purchase of the Cortijo Virgen de los Milagros in 1971, Montabes Vañó, S.L. (MONVA) was born. One syllable from each surname was enough to get started. We carry the tradition, experience and values of our founders in our blood.4
